Playing&Learning

University day today. YAY! Current start of the week musings; Rag & Bone jeans. Loving the coloured stripe down the side to elongate the legs and add that sporty, not-just-your-average-jeans look. ANYTHING metallic. Still. Jennifer Lawrence absolutely killing it in this bronze number. Cannot wait to see The Hunger Games (THG). I love this script - the idea of a post-apocalyptic world. THG is an allegory of a world in which one dictator has a villainous hold over the rest of the city and uses this control to force young men and women to take part in a twisted game of life. Matched against one and other, the unwilling competitors are forced to fight to the death to become the ultimate champion. Sounds twisted but I think it will be a winner.

The last pic is Olive, the 9-week old, lively bundle of pure puppy bliss who I have been baby-sitting all morning. I love her to death. My best friend Sheree adopted her just two weeks ago. She has the most amazing personality. Just the right amount of mischievousness meshed will a fragile, unlearned demeanour. AWWW

Go girls! I will never tire of perusing some of my favourite ladies as they share with the world their outfits, escapades and inspirations. They are my blogging inspiration. Want and need: Something perspex/clear, prints, namely spots and more jackets for winter! BITS&PIECES

The above is a perfect summary of SOME of the pieces that i'm going to NEED to add to my wardrobe this Autumn. Baroque prints are going to be HUGE. I just love the unexpected combination of colours mixed with the oh-so-Versace golds and creams. Precious stones, a good fur piece, tran-seasonal garments and some deep, warm tones. Why is it thats celebs (particularly the style adept) can draw my whole and undivided attention. Loving the fact that Aussies make up the bulk of my celebrity muses at the moment. Particular cudo's to Catherine McNeil in her latest shoot for Vogue. Faultless!
